The Highest Hair is a vulnerability project around hair beautification.

I have been wearing wigs, weaves, and hairpieces for over twenty years due to genetic balding and am interested in all the ways society engages with hair—from historical symbols like judge wigs to the impact of chemo, the influence of fashion, and the widespread use of hairpieces across all races and identities. Hair is a powerful statement of identity.
The Highest Hair installation takes viewers on a journey through Hair History and features a futuristic salon setting and several sculptural headpieces that blend hair, lights, and sensors to create unusual, wearable art. Each piece is designed to celebrate individuality and challenge traditional beauty standards, embracing the creativity and vulnerability that hair represents.
