LoveDome: A geodesic dome set in a graveyard during the O+ festival. Inside the dome is a small sculpture.

The LoveDome is an immersive experience inside of a calming space for explorers looking to connect with their own body.

The sculpture is equipped with a heartbeat sensor that, when touched, triggers deep subwoofer sounds and synchronized LED lights that pulse in time with the participant’s heartbeat.
The setup allows users to experience their own heartbeat outside their body, creating a visceral connection with their internal rhythms.

Some visitors run back and forth to feel the effects of activity, while others use the space to meditate, adjusting their heartbeat through relaxation techniques. The LoveDome has been exhibited at several festivals across the U.S., drawing thousands of participants who have explored their heartbeats in sync with friends and fellow festival-goers.

From the outside, lights blink red whenever someone interacts with the heartbeat sensor. As friends and strangers learn to modulate their heartbeat and compare their experience, the LoveDome becomes a collaborative art piece connecting us to each other.
